Playmaker Labs Ltd. embarks on a groundbreaking partnership with the North East States of India to promote sports inclusion and talent scouting

Playmaker Labs NZ which is headquartered in Wellington, NZ signed MoU with three northeastern states viz Meghalaya, Assam and Sikkim in August in the presence of Hon Min of NE region in New Delhi on 06 March. 


The subsidiaries of Playmaker Labs NZ are cricHQ and My Action Sport. 


The purpose of the MoU is to bring sports inclusion in NE region. This will involve skill development around sports, coaching, streaming and community outreach. 


The facilitation of this MoU was through Invest India and Playmaker Labs participation in the INZBC NZ led Business Missions. 


Playmaker Labs NZ has a presence in India with offices in Mumbai and Kochi. They are iconic and first entrants in the digital scoring segment of cricket. Over 20+ cricket players are ambassadors of this organisation which caters to over 14 national governing bodies in cricket, 200 state cricket associations and over 2000+ clubs and associations globally. They have over 2.8 Mn users on their platform and are growing aggressively. 


Playmaker Labs NZ recently signed with Jio Platforms which led to over 10 Mn homes accessing the platform through Jio STBs. 


MoU signed in August in presence of Hon Minister Shri G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for DoNER, Government of India and Shri B L Verma, Minister of State for DoNER, Government of India alongside various Government officials at Vighyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 06 March 2024.


Sreedhar Venkatram is the Chapter Head for Mumbai for INZBC.
