Bhav Dhillon

INZBC is delighted to assert the presence of Bhav Dhillon as its Official Patron.

Bhav stands as one of New Zealand's most prominent and highly respected Kiwi-Indian business leaders, a visionary whose influence extends far beyond the boardroom into the heart of the community.

Renowned for his exceptional contributions to fostering India-New Zealand relations, Dhillon has been a steadfast advocate for deeper trade, cultural, and diplomatic ties between the two nations.

As the Managing Director of both Cemix and Dunlop Drymix, leading manufacturers of construction products, bagged cement & concrete in New Zealand, his business acumen has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry.

Beyond his remarkable success in business, Dhillon has distinguished himself as an influential community leader. As the former Honorary Consul of India in Auckland, he played a crucial role in fortifying bilateral relations, serving as a bridge between India and New Zealand.

His efforts in promoting social cohesion and community wellbeing have left an indelible mark, making him an instrumental figure in promoting people to people relations between India-New Zealand.

Dhillon's leadership extends across multiple platforms. He chairs the Indian Weekender, the Kiwi Indian Hall of Fame, and the "There's a Better Way" Foundation, where his philanthropic efforts support at-risk youth, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to giving back to society. His former role as Chair of Foundation North, New Zealand’s largest community trust managing over $2 billion in funds, further attests to his ability to lead with integrity and purpose.

Recognized for his contributions, Bhav Dhillon has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, India’s highest honor for overseas Indians, the Hind Rattan Award, Rotary International’s Indian Diaspora Award, and the NRI Honour from the Government of Punjab. These accolades underscore his profound impact not only in New Zealand but also across the Indian diaspora.

Through his tireless efforts in business, philanthropy, and community service, Dhillon has earned his place as one of the most well-regarded and influential figures within New Zealand's Kiwi-Indian community and beyond.

As the esteemed Patron of India NZ Business Council he will be a definite asset in supporting our members and furthering the bilateral trade relationship between India and New Zealand.
