As the Managing Director of both Cemix and Dunlop Drymix, leading manufacturers of construction products, bagged cement & concrete in New Zealand, his business acumen has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry.
Beyond his remarkable success in business, Dhillon has distinguished himself as an influential community leader. As the former Honorary Consul of India in Auckland, he played a crucial role in fortifying bilateral relations, serving as a bridge between India and New Zealand.
His efforts in promoting social cohesion and community wellbeing have left an indelible mark, making him an instrumental figure in promoting people to people relations between India-New Zealand.
Dhillon's leadership extends across multiple platforms. He chairs the Indian Weekender, the Kiwi Indian Hall of Fame, and the "There's a Better Way" Foundation, where his philanthropic efforts support at-risk youth, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to giving back to society. His former role as Chair of Foundation North, New Zealand’s largest community trust managing over $2 billion in funds, further attests to his ability to lead with integrity and purpose.
Recognized for his contributions, Bhav Dhillon has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, India’s highest honor for overseas Indians, the Hind Rattan Award, Rotary International’s Indian Diaspora Award, and the NRI Honour from the Government of Punjab.
